This beginner-friendly live course (via Google Meet) is designed for students who want to start coding in Python. Over six interactive sessions, learners will build a strong foundation in programming while creating fun, hands-on projects.
What will be taught:
Students will learn the fundamentals of Python, including:
What Python is and why it’s widely used
Variables and valid variable names
Data types (strings, numbers) and string manipulation
User input, operators, and basic calculations
F-strings and formatting output
Hands-on projects to apply concepts
Class structure:
Each class is 60 minutes long, including a 5-minute Q&A at the end.
Classes begin with a short explanation of the topic, followed by demonstrations and coding examples.
Students practice immediately by writing their own programs, experimenting with variables, strings, input, and operators.
Later sessions include mini-projects to reinforce learning.
Teaching style:
My approach is interactive and hands-on. I guide students through examples and encourage experimentation.
Lessons are a mix of live demonstrations, coding exercises, discussions, and projects.
Learner interaction:
Students actively code alongside the instructor during class.
Questions are welcomed throughout, and participants are encouraged to share their screens, ask for help, and collaborate.
Exercises and mini-projects ensure every learner practices the concepts in real time.
By the end of the course, students will confidently write simple Python code, understand core programming concepts, and be ready to take on more advanced coding challenges.
